RAKHUM
One of the most compelling and beautiful attributes of God is His compassion. The word in Hebrew used to describe the compassion of God is "rakhum." In English, that translates to the word "womb". God's compassion for His children is comparable to the strong emotions and tender compassion a mother has on her new child. God's compassion isn't just an emotion, it's an action. Without the compassion of God, would there have been salvation for His sinful children?

"SELAH" BREAKS
Throughout the Psalms, we see the word, "selah", used quite often. This word is debated to either imply a break in the reading of Scripture for a moment of mediation or as a musical instruction. In the context of pausing and meditating, Christians should take "selah" breaks throughout their day to reflect on Scripture and the character of God. The vibrance of God's Word and His character comes alive when we properly meditate and reflect.
